Winik announced in February that she intendsx to retireeffective Sept. 30, 2009. The Boar d of Trustees of the Alamo Public TelecommunicationsCouncilk (APTC) announced that Moll will succeed Winik on Oct. 1, 2009. He was part of the team that foundec KLRNin 1962, and serveed as station manager in San Antonioo from 1964 through 1969. “ look forward to returning to KLRN in this new Moll says. “Joanne Winik and her exceptional staftf have built Channel 9 into one of the premie public television stations inthe nation. ” Jim Goudge, chairmab of APTC, says Winik’s dedicatiob to the development of the city’ public television institution has touched the lives of millionds of viewers. “With his broad and successful experiencedin media, we are confident that Bill Moll will enhance and grow this Goudge says. Moll most recently served as chairmab of ClearChannel Television, a division of San Antonio-based KLRN-TV Channel 9 is the public televisionn station for South Central Texas and broadcasts to a 30-counthy radius.
