Western New York AmeriCorps CEO Mark Lazzara said the initiapl grantof $687,492 could translate into up to $1.1 million for the programk over two years, depending on the YouthBuild program’s performance. Lazzara said the funds will be put toward stipendsw for young people while they learn the construction trade orattenfd classes.
